- About the harvest this year:

We have started our harvest on 21st of September and have finished harvesting on Friday, 19th of October... with a break between our whites and our reds.Now all the grapes are in fermentation stage in our wine - cellar and the "new" wines are borning in this moment. The harvest time was shirt enought as we prefered to do not harvest our Pinot Grigio, Merlot and Cabernet Sauvignon due to too much rain in this season. So, these wines were not produced in 2010. From the rest of the wines we expect great quality also if the quantity is very small indeed (Pinot Nero is just 30 HL from 4 hectares! and the same for Schioppettino and Pignol).

- SLOW FOOD recognition:

We have just received "Chiocciola" of SLOW FOOD... the highest recognition of Slow Food for the wineries (SLOW WINE is a new wine guide of SLow Food...after its separation from Gambero Rosso...) and our VERDUZZO FRIULANO 2006 is between 180 SLOW WINES (the most highly rated) in Italy...

We are pleased to announce that our Schioppettino 2004 (Ribolla Nera "Black Ribolla") obtained TOP HUNDRED award this year, conceived by the important oenogastrinomic giornalists Paolo Massobrio and Marco Gatti, who select every year 100 BEST WINES OF ITALY which are pubblished on IL GOLOSARIO best seller.The presentation of IL GOLOSARIO and TOP HUNDRED wines is tomorrow, 7th November, at the MELIA' Hotel in Milan, where everybody will be able to taste the wines selected.
